Dr Omololu (Lolu) Ogunniyi, MD MRCGP Dip BSLM/IBLM

I qualified from Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University, New York in 2005 and achieved membership into the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2015.  I hold a Diploma in Lifestyle Medicine from the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine (2020) and am a member of the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine.  I am also a Functional Medicine Academy Certified Practitioner (FMACP) and have undertaken additional training in Functional Medicine with the Institute of Functional Medicine. I have recently completed certified training with Culinary Medicine UK (watch this space!) I work as an NHS GP in Ipswich, Suffolk in the UK

My work is grounded in my Christian values, inspired by 3 John 2 from the Bible: “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” I believe true health encompasses body, mind, and spirit.

With a robust focus on Lifestyle Medicine and wellness coaching, my work at Flourish with Dr Lolu empowers clients to achieve improved physical and emotional well-being. As a speaker and advocate, the goal is to elevate preventive health strategies and deliver compassionate care that resonates across diverse cultural backgrounds. Through this mission, we strive to redefine "good health", ensuring it encompasses not just the body, but also the mind and spirit, especially for women and communities of color.

I’m married to a Business Intelligence whizz, and we have two lovely energetic teenage boys. Having travelled and lived in different cities around the world, we’ve called Suffolk home for the last sixteen years.

It is important that we realise that we are not powerless in the battle against chronic illness - the choices we make now with regards to our food, physical activity, sleep, relaxation are the building blocks in the house of health we will inhabit in the future. I'm here to help you choose wisely.
