Dr Omololu (Lolu) Ogunniyi, MD MRCGP Dip BSLM/IBLM
I'm a woman who loves God, loves medicine, and believes the two were never meant to be separate.
I qualified from Weill Cornell Medical College in New York in 2005 and became a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in the UK in 2015. I hold a Diploma in Lifestyle Medicine from the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine, I'm a member of the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine, and a Functional Medicine Academy Certified Practitioner. I've trained with the Institute of Functional Medicine and recently completed certified training with Culinary Medicine UK (because I love good food too much to pretend it doesn't matter!)
What I love most is helping women arrive at that moment, the one where it finally clicks: "I understand what my body has been trying to tell me, and I know what to do about it." That shift from confusion to clarity, from feeling powerless to feeling in control. That's what this work is for.
My work is grounded in 3 John 1:2: "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." I take that verse literally. I believe God cares about your blood pressure as much as your prayer life, and that true health means tending to your spirit, your mind, your relationships, and your body, not just the one that shows up on a blood test.
I'm married to a Business Intelligence whizz, and we have two energetic teenage boys and a rambunctious King Charles Spaniel. I've lived in many cities across the world, but we've called Suffolk home for the last eighteen years. I know what it means to build a life far from where you started, and I know what it costs your body when you spend years putting everyone and everything else first.
The good news? You are not powerless. And it’s not too late. The choices you make now, what you eat, how you move, how you rest, how you connect, are building the house of health you'll inhabit for decades to come. I'm here to help you build it wisely.
